How to Get Rid of Dark Spots Overnight with Natural Remedies

It takes place when the skin produces an excessive amount of melanin. The face, neck, legs, arms, and other parts of the body are not immune to the development of dark spots. They do not cause any discomfort and are completely safe to touch, but they are unsightly, and if we do not take care of them, they can turn into a condition that is permanent in our body.

What causes the dark spots?

Before we talk about how to get rid of dark spots at home, let's talk about why they happen.

1. Every day of being in the sun. When you spend a lot of time in the sun every day, the melanin on the surface of your skin builds up. This makes dark spots on your skin.

    2. Hormonal instability. Most of the time, this is what causes acne and dark spots on your face.

    3. Chemical Medications of skin

So, these are some of the most common reasons why we get acne or dark spots.

How to Get Rid of Dark Spots at Home Naturally:

1. Aloe Vera

The extract of aloe vera gel is highly effective in clearing dark spots. It has aloin, which is an ingredient with a melanocytic effect that helps get rid of dark spots.

How to use- 

Cut a piece of aloe vera in half and take the pulp out of it.
Use a fork to mix the gel.
You can either use your fingers or cotton to put it on.
For 15–20 minutes, rub it.
Use warm water to wash it.

2. Buttermilk 

Buttermilk is farmented milk. It is full of good bacteria that are good for your health and skin.

How to use-

You can make buttermilk at home, or you can buy it at the store.
Apply the buttermilk to the dark spots and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes.
Use warm water to wash it off.
You can mix a few drops of lemon into your face if it is oily or if you have acne.

3. Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is full of vitamin C, which helps to even out the tone of your skin and get rid of dark spots and acne.

How to use-

Mix 1 tablespoon of lemon juice with a cup of water.

Use the cotton to put the solution on the area.

Don't touch it for 20 to 30 minutes.
Use warm water to wash it off.

4. Orange Peel

As it has nutrients like hesperidin and a strong vitamin that make the skin lighter. It even makes the dark spots lighter.

How to use-

Take the orange peel and grind it into a powder by letting it dry out.
Mix a half teaspoon of powdered orange peel with a few drops of water.
Use a cotton swab to put the mixture on the spots.
Don't touch it for 20 to 30 minutes.
Use warm water to wash it.

5. Turmeric

Turmeric has been used for a long time to make the face look brighter. It has anti-melanogenic properties that help lighten dark spots. This is because it is an antioxidant.

How to use-

Mix 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder with 1 tablespoon of water.
Put the paste on the area that hurts.
Let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes, then wash it off with water.

6. Cucumber

One good source of water is cucumber. Your body can stay hydrated if you eat cucumber every day. It also has a lot of vitamins, which help lighten the skin and get rid of acne spots.

How to use-

Blend together a fresh cucumber.
Take off the extra water and put the paste on the area that hurts.
Leave it for 20-30 minutes until it dries.
Use warm water to wash it off.

7. Black Tea Water

Black tea is more oxidised than other types of tea. It helps keep the heart healthy, lowers bad cholesterol, and has antioxidant qualities. By putting black tea water on the dark spots, you can make them lighter and get rid of them.

How to use-

Put one tablespoon of fresh black tea leaves into the drained water that is boiling.
Let it sit for two hours without moving it, and then squeeze the leaves.
Soak a cotton ball in it and put it on the spot.
Leave it for 10-20 minutes until it dries.
Use warm water to get rid of it.

8. Green Tea Extract

Green tea gets rid of extra body fat, makes our skin glow, and lightens dark spots. It's the best way to get rid of dark spots. 

How to use-

Put the green tea bag in the water that is boiling.
Take the teabag out of the water after 3 to 5 minutes and let it cool.
Use the tea bag to rub the area.
Use warm water to wash it.

9. Castor Oil 

Castor oil is used to get rid of dark spots. We know that castor oil is good for hair, skin, and health in general. It can help stop hair loss and get rid of acne and dark spots.

How to use-Take some castor oil and put it on your fingers.

Apply it to the area that hurts and rub it in.

Let it sit overnight, and in the morning, wash it off.

10. Tomato Paste

Tomato is the best home remedy for getting rid of sunburn, age spots, and acne. It has small particles that are easily taken by the skin and work to heal it from the inside out.

How to use-

Get 1 tablespoon of rice flour.

Mix it with a little bit of water and tomato juice.

Apply the paste to your face and let it sit for 15–20 minutes.
Use warm water to wash it.

I've been using these home remedies. I make them every day, and I love how they turn out. Only problem is that I don't always have time to apply these home remedies. So I have tried some beauty product to test and some of them worked for me.
